Stephanie Girard

Stephanie has been working in human resources for over 20 years. She was diagnosed with stage 2 lobular breast cancer in August 2023. After some self reflection, she decided to pursue her dream of becoming a therapist. Stephanie started the Masters of Counseling program at Webster University in the Fall of 2024. She attends school part-time while working full-time. The curriculum is not only helping Stephanie learn how to counsel others, but it is also helping her work through the many challenges she is facing during her breast cancer journey. Pursing this goal has given Stephanie a sense of purpose and a future to look forward to.
