NATALIE MANSOURI BSN, RN, CHPN- EVELYN’S HOUSE PATIENT CARE MANAGER

Natalie is currently employed with BJC Hospice as Patient Care Manager of Evelyn’s House in Creve Coeur located within Saint Louis County Missouri. She is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Prior to working as a Hospice RN, Natalie obtained a Bachelor's in Psychology and worked in mental health case management.

Natalie has experience as a staff RN in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH), managed a wound care program for an LTACH, was Hospice RN Case Manager supervising the nursing student and orientation programs, a Palliative care coordinator managing a new program and team, and Hospice Float-Admission RN. Natalie began her journey with BJC as the Lead RN of Evelyn’s House assisting with the opening of the inpatient facility. With Evelyn’s House running successfully, Natalie moved to a new role leading the Hospice Representatives throughout the six Greater Saint Louis BJC hospitals. This team assists in the education and support of patients making the difficult decision to begin hospice care. In August of 2022, Natalie was presented with an opportunity to return as Patient Care Manager of Evelyn’s House, which provides a comforting oasis for patients on BJC Hospice.

Evelyn’s House specializes in General Inpatient (GIP) level of hospice care providing support for patients whose acute symptoms cannot be successfully managed in other settings, such as home or residential hospice. GIP level of care provides intensive medical and nursing care, and gives patients personalized attention in a comfortable and supportive environment. Natalie leads the supportive interdisciplinary team which consists of Hospice Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Aides as well as additional supportive disciplines of Social Work, Chaplaincy, Art Therapy with Bereavement support, Music Therapy, and hospice Volunteer team.

Natalie is a member of Hospice and Palliative Nursing Association and was elected as an inaugural member of the Palliative Nursing Leadership Development Program in 2019, held presidency for HPNA for the local Saint Louis provisional chapter from 2019-2022, is a member of the Healing Beyond Borders and participated on the Board of Directors for Healing Touch STL 2017-2021, and currently holds a position on the Executive Board of Young Professionals for Gateyway180 Homeless Shelter. She received the Nursing Humanitarian Award for Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Nursing in 2011 and is an alumnus for Alpha Phi International Fraternity and Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology.
