I was born and raised in St. Louis. I went to a Christian college and got a music and ministry degree with the desire to become a full-time worship leader. I met my husband, Brock at college and we got married in 2011. After our honeymoon we immediately moved to Virginia to further his education. A full-time worship leading gig never presented itself so I worked at a cafe until our first son was born in 2013. After Brock got his Mdiv we moved back to St. Louis. We settled into University City and I started my own cake business while leading worship as a volunteer. Our son William was born in 2016. I stayed home with the kids and continued the cake business until I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in 2018. A year and a half of treatments and multiple surgeries later- I was finally done! While I was recovering from my final surgery, covid hit. So In 2021 I decided to start a new adventure and I picked up photography and started taking family photos. Then in 2022, I was given a great opportunity to work from home and be a part-time Administrative Coordinator for a non- profit! Now I’m almost 5 years cancer free I still work for the non- profit, I lead worship as volunteer, and I still take pictures and make cakes for family and friends. But I’m really enjoying just being a mom and being really active and present in their lives.
